4 Brioche Buns
2-3 kg Piece of brisket
400ml Beef stock
1 Bottle of Jack Daniel’s® Smooth Original BBQ sauce
1tsp each of Smoked paprika, black pepper, garlic powder, mustard powder
Rub mix all over the beef and leave to marinate for 30 minutes
Mix stock and Jack Daniel’s® Smooth Original BBQ sauce in the bottom of a roasting tin.
Add beef and baste
Cook at 150c for 4-5 hours until beef is tender and can be stabbed easily with a fork. Baste regularly during cooking
Once ready allow the meat to cool in the cooking juices. This can be done a day ahead if needed.
To finish place beef onto a hot BBQ and cook for twenty minutes to colour and caramelize
Slice and serve straight away
